Before The Church in Caronport was formed, Josh served as the lead pastor of Caronport Community Church for one year and as executive pastor for two years before that. While relatively new in vocational ministry, Josh has a growing passion for preaching and teaching the Scriptures, developing new leaders, and seeing lives transformed by the power of the Gospel. He’s thrilled to work with a leadership team and a congregation that loves one another deeply and serves wholeheartedly with the gifts God has given. A passage of Scripture Josh has found especially meaningful in this season is Ephesians 4:11-12 which describes how the Lord “gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.”
Josh has been married to Dochelle since 2006. They are currently expecting their first child via international adoption. Outside of serving in ministry, you’re likely to find Josh growing tomatoes in the garden, dabbling in 35mm film photography, painting sets for campus theatre productions, or hiking (preferably in the mountains, but most anywhere will do).
